ANOKI RESTAURANT PROVES ITS MILES BEYOND THE REST

A leading Derby/Midlands restaurant, which was recently named as one of the UK's top ten Indian restaurants and restaurants for groups, has once again proved that it’s miles ahead of the competition after it stepped in to sponsor a local businesswoman to run the Flora London Marathon.

Anoki restaurant, which is based on London Road, has sponsored Michelle Buckle to the tune of £500 to complete the gruelling 26 mile run on 13 April. Michelle, who runs Beauty of Flowers in Littleover and provides the flowers for Anoki, is running to raise funds for Diabetes UK, which works for people with diabetes, funds research, campaigns and helps people live with the condition.

A Derby/Midlands restaurant has received its second national accolade in as many months after it was named as one of the UK's top ten restaurants for groups in The Times newspaper.

Before Christmas, Anoki Restaurant, on London Road in Derby featured in Square Meal’s gourmet guide to the hottest curry houses nationwide, published in The Times culture supplement, The Knowledge. It has now been named in the guide’s top ten restaurants for groups - and is the only restaurant to be featured in both publications.
